CAPRIWelcome to CAPRI, the Centre for Academic Practice and Research in Internationalisation, established in 2009 as a result of Leeds Metropolitan University's experience in implementing a strategic and holistic approach to internationalisation. We seek to revolutionise thinking through the development of a community of practitioners focusing on a forward-looking research, implementation and evaluation agenda. Our team at Leeds Metropolitan University is supplemented by leading thinkers and active practitioners from around the world, who are our Visiting Professors and Visiting Fellows. As a global professional community we aim to share experience and resources, collaborate in research projects and offer insights from around the world as reference points and sources of information with a view to enhancing practice in international education. Please contact us if our work interests you and you would like to explore the potential for partnership and collaboration.
BMAF and HLST critical reviews - Help us to showcase what works!
CAPRI staff members Viv Caruana and Josef Ploner are currently undertaking a critical review of contemporary practice in internationalisation within the BMAF (Business, Management, Accountancy, Finance) and HLST (Hospitality, Leisure, Sport, Tourism) subject communities. We would like to invite practitioners in these subject areas to actively contribute to this review by showcasing good practice and advising on valuable literature, online sources, teaching and learning materials, etc. If you would like to find out more about the reviews, please visit the online forums or get in touch with Josef (j.ploner@leedsmet.ac.uk) for further information and login-details.
