Earn while you learn
You needn't be concerned about financing your studies. Our Job Shop is one of the largest in the country, providing 170,000 hours of paid work per year. Our 3,086 Registered Users earn an average wage of £8.62 per hour.
Gain Work Experience
We include at least 2 weeks work related learning per year embedded in every course. Employers are increasingly looking for graduates who have a range of experience over and above their university studies, It’s a great way to improve your chances.
Free Language Courses
We offer full-time first year undergraduate students the opportunity to learn a language free of charge. Our classes run for 10 weeks, two hours a week, and take place in the evening, so you don't need to worry about your timetable.
Golden Opportunities
Leeds Metropolitan were the only British University to secure more than 70 student internships at the 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games. Every summer we take around 500 students to work at UK festivals through our partnership with Festival Republic. And each year we offer international volunteering projects in exciting countries such as in Sri Lanka, Brazil & Thailand.
