Drums beat in African partnership
As reported in Thursday’s Yorkshire Evening Post and as part of the celebrations marking the launch of Leeds Met Africa, Lamin Jassey and his African drumming group Woolaba performed in the Lower Concourse of the Civic Quarter while students and staff enjoyed the sunshine flowing in through the open doors. Gospel Choir Performance
The Unlimited Praise Gospel Choir opened the launch event at Headingley Campus, singing three traditional African songs on the steps of the James Graham Building and then again inside the lecture theatre to delegates who sang along. View images.
