Carnegie Rugby League World Club ChallengeLeeds Met Australian student, Ian Henderson, was described by The Times as ‘outstanding’ in Bradford Bulls’ victory over Wests Tigers in rugby league’s Carnegie World Club Challenge on Friday.

Earlier in the week

Australian Super League champions the Wests Tigers took the opportunity to fit in some pre-match training at Leeds Met Carnegie’s world-class sporting facilities, alongside the university’s rugby league first team, in the run-up to the Carnegie World Club Challenge.

Earlier in the day, the captains of the Wests Tigers and the UK Super League Champions Bradford Bulls announced at a press conference that they are confident of an action-packed Carnegie World Club Challenge match on Friday, 3 February, at the Galpharm Stadium in Huddersfield, supported by Leeds Met Carnegie.
