PANOWEAVER

Panoweaver is software that converts two full-fisheye photos (Fig.1a & Fig.1b) into a stitched rectilinear strip (Fig.2). This strip can then be exported as a QuickTime spherical panoramic movie (Fig.3), or it can be imported into a Tourweaver scene.

Before exporting a stitched panorama in Panoweaver, click the Panoramic Image Size drop-down menu and select 'User Defined'
Set Width as 2000 (pixels).
Set Height as 1000 (pixels)
This will create a file size of approximately 400kb per spherical movie.
When used for a Tourweaver scene it will play on most computers with a fairly fast internet connection.

If the dropdown menu is set as Web Broadband, it creates a file size of approximately 1mb, with a Width of 4000 pixels and a Height of 2000 pixels. This will play on most computers if it is exported as a QuickTime movie. But if it is used for a Tourweaver scene it might not play even on computers with a fast internet connection.

TOURWEAVER
Tourweaver is software into which you can import stitched rectilinear strip images (see Fig.2) and create a virtual reality scene. A useful tool in Tourweaver is the compass feature. A compass can be added to each room of an imported site plan. It reacts to the user's rotation of the spherical panoramic movie; also, the user's movement of the compass will cause the spherical panoramic movie to rotate.
