STARs

Student Academic Representatives (STARs) are student volunteers who represent your views at course-level, at Faculty Forums and in meetings with academic and administrative staff.

The Students’ Union offers support and training throughout the year for all STARs. The Union also runs monthly Faculty Forums, to which all STARs are invited to give feedback to the Union and your faculty on lots of different aspects of your student experience.

If you’d like to find out who is the STAR for your course, or you’d like to become a STAR, you should contact your course team. If you’re already a STAR and you’d like to know what support and training is available to you, you can contact the Students’ Union.
