You will need a username and password to access on-campus PCs, wi-fi, your university emails, X-stream and electronic journals. Your username is on your Campus Card and begins with a ‘c’ (for example c123456). You will need to collect your default password from the Help & Information Point at either City or Headingley campus libraries. If you have used the Online Welcome Information System, your password will be the same as the one you used to access this.
You will also need to collect your PIN in order to take books out of the library. Your Campus Card is also your library card and you will need your PIN to use the self-service issue. You can collect your PIN by presenting your Campus Card at the Help & Information Point at either library, it is also available from the Library tab in X-stream.
If you forget your password you should contact the Help & Information Point or the Helpzone. Staff at the Help and Information Point will also be able to issue you with a new PIN should you forget it. Alternatively you can get a new PIN through X-stream.
When you first use the kiosk to add money to your account for printing you will be asked to choose your own 4 digit PIN. If you forget this PIN, use the Campus Card PIN reminder or in the My Account tab of X-stream.
