IBM Competition

In a year of record entries which saw 1,500 students in the UK (about 300 teams) enter this prestigious competition, one of our teams has made it to the semi-final.

Our team is made up of the following students: Charles Mills, BA Business Management; Vicki Robinson (team captain), BA Advertising & Marketing Management; Precious Fukwana, BA Business Studies; Samuel James Alexander Thomas, BA Marketing & Advertising Management; and Joshua Smith, BA Business Studies. The semi-final is hosted by Proctor and Gamble on Friday 9 March in Newcastle-upon- Tyne. Val Finnegan will join our students there to support them in their quest to get to the final. They will be up against two teams from Liverpool University, two from Abertay, Dundee, and one each from Manchester Business School, Sheffield Business School, Edinburgh Napier, Sunderland and Newcastle Universities.
