Chaplaincy

The Universities Chaplaincy in Leeds offers spiritual guidance, support and friendship to students from both Leeds Metropolitan and the University of Leeds. Facilities and services are open to students of all faiths and those without a faith.

The chaplaincy offers Bible study sessions, opportunities for worship, socials for international students and many other services including pastoral support in times of crisis.

The Universities Chaplaincy Leeds is based in:

• The Emmanuel Centre, next to the main entrance to the University of Leeds campus, Woodhouse Lane
• The Catholic Chaplaincy, St Mark’s Avenue
• The Cottage, Headingley Campus

Further faith support for Christian students can be found through the Christian Union.

University Jewish Chaplaincy also has a Rabbi based in Leeds. Rabbi Russ Shulkes offers faith guidance and support for Jewish students.
