Car Parking

Limited car parking is available at both City and Headingley campuses. Unless you are subject to exemption there is a charge for parking at both campuses.

We recommend that you leave your car at home as car parking in Leeds can be expensive and there are regular public transport links in and around the City.

Students holding a Blue Badge can obtain a parking permit. Contact the Disability Support Team by email or telephone 0113 81 28519. Students with other medical grounds or exceptional circumstances should also contact Disability Services in the first instance.

Car Sharing

Car-sharing (also called liftsharing, ridesharing and carpooling) is when two or more people share a car and travel together.

It allows individuals to benefit from the convenience of the car, whilst reducing travel costs, congestion and pollution.

To find a car sharing partner, register here as a Leeds Metropolitan Student with carshare.com

You don’t need to have a car to register, you can also request lifts. You can register any type of journey, whether it is a regular trip to the University or the occasional trip home. Register today, there might be someone going your way!
