Athletic Union

The Athletic Union (AU) consists of 43 clubs with 1,600 members. Many of the clubs compete in weekly BUCS fixtures all over the country, as well as in the annual Varsity tournament against local rivals the University of Leeds. The AU also offers non-BUCS sports from dodgeball to sub-aqua.

The AU is led by the AU President, elected by students every year, and strong links to the Students’ Union. So not only can you play the sport you love every week, you get the opportunity to run your own club, and if there isn’t a club for the sport you play, you can start your own.
