Gallery & Studio Theatre

Part of the Faculty of Arts, Environment & Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University, the Gallery & Studio Theatre has commissioned, produced, curated and promoted contemporary visual art and performance since 1991. It works with artists and performance makers engaged in developing new practice.

All of the theatre’s activities are open to the public and its policy is to make contemporary practice as accessible as possible to a wide audience through great programming, engagement projects and marketing initiatives. The theatre regularly collaborates at regional, national and international levels. External funders include Arts Council England and Leeds City Council with project funding from other trusts and funding bodies.
