Leeds is brimming with cultural interest, from the national attractions of the Royal Armouries and the Henry Moore Institute, to local curiosities such as Lotherton Hall and Harewood House. Leeds is also home to elite performance companies such as Opera North and the Northern Ballet: our University’s partnerships with these organisations means our students can benefit from free tickets and offers for performances. 

If you enjoy theatre, check out the West Yorkshire Playhouse – it stages more productions than any other theatre outside London, and attracts major actors such as Sir Ian McKellen. Also, our own Leeds Met Gallery & Studio Theatre presents cutting edge programmes of contemporary work across the city.
