Bursaries & Scholarships

A bursary is a type of grant that you don't have to repay.

Different types of bursary include the NHS Bursary for students on NHS funded courses and the Social Work Bursary for students studying for a Social Work degree.

There are also bursaries available for some postgraduate teacher training courses.

A scholarship is a one-off award of financial aid to a student to further their education.They are designed to assist with the costs related to living and studying at university and are usually awarded to students who come from a low-income household. We have several scholarships unique to our university as well as access to national scholarships.
