Year End

The responsibility for co-ordinating the year end/closedown process sits within Financial Planning and Reporting.

Each year timetables and guidance notes are produced, detailing the tasks Resource Centres need to complete during the closedown process. The University’s financial year runs from the 1st of August to the 31st of July. At each year end the University has a statutory obligation to produce Financial Statements. These must be audited and submitted to the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).
