Student Survey Season

Student Survey Season launched on 4 February and closed on 30 April 2013. This year it included the National Student Survey (NSS), for final year undergraduates and our own Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) for level four and five undergraduates.

In 2012 we achieved a NSS response rate of 66% which was just 1% below the sector average, and our internal survey achieved 20%. This year our targets to receive feedback which is more representative of the views of our entire undergraduate population were 70% for the NSS. We achieved 70.6% in the NSS and 32.5% in the SSS. The full results of the NSS will be published in August.

Our Survey Season FAQ page explains the importance of these surveys, how they are delivered and how the results are used both internally and within the sector. This year all students who completed their surveys online were able to redeem a voucher for a free coffee and all students who completed online were entered into a free prize draw with a chance to win one of the following prizes; nd iPad, iPod Touch or £50 iTunes voucher (terms and conditions apply).
