Student Hub

Our Student Hub replaces the Helpzone service and is specifically designed to deal with student queries and their needs related to service/support provision. Services are provided to students in a variety of ways: face-to-face, electronic or by telephone.

The range of services represented at the Student Hub has expanded to include some services which previously did not have a central ‘front of house’:

  • Registry
  • Financial Services
  • Accommodation
  • Students’ Union which, in addition to its offices at City Campus, has a presence at both of our Student Hubs

Our Services for Students provision now comes under five teams that will also continue to be represented centrally via the Student Hub:

  • Disability, Dyslexia and Assessment Centre
  • Student Progression and Employability Centre (including Careers & Job Shop)
  • Student Money
  • International Student Advice Centre
  • Student Wellbeing Centre (including Counselling and Chaplaincy)

The Student Hub is the new generation Helpzone. It is the first point of call for students with queries about student life / support. Its focus is to provide a range of information and also to quickly and effectively connect students to the correct pathway of support.

Our former ‘Current Students’ website has also been replaced by the Student Hub website which also signposts our students to all of the services, support and opportunities studying at our University offers them.

There are two Student Hubs, one based on the ground floor of the Rose Bowl, City Campus and one at Campus Central (formerly Jean Monnet), Headingley Campus,.
