Research & Enterprise Committee


The Research and Enterprise Committee is responsible to the Academic Board for overseeing the University’s research; enterprise; other scholarly activity and the provision of research degrees.

Its remit includes promoting the strategic development of research and enterprise and other scholarly related activity across the University; overseeing preparations for all external assessments of research quality and enterprise; overseeing the provision of research degrees; auditing and evaluating the University’s research regulations; and promulgating good practice, innovation, and ethical conduct in research and enterprise and other scholarly activity.

The Chair of the Research & Enterprise Committee is Professor Andrew Slade
