Research Ethics Sub-Committee

The Research Ethics Sub-Committee's remit includes the consideration of covert research projects and projects referred by the Faculty Research Ethics Committees.

The Committee has a responsibility to provide information and advice to researchers on issues related to research ethics and advise the Research and Enterprise Committee on a periodic review of the University's Policy, Framework Principles and Procedures for Research Ethics. Hence, we welcome all ideas about how we might develop research ethics, especially in the context of building up a critical and supportive community of research practice.

The Chair of the Research Ethics Sub-Committee is Professor Carlton Cooke
