Section A includes all information and guidance relating to the definition of awards of the University and where the regulatory ‘Principles’ are outlined.

You will find that these matters are described in greater detail within Sections B, C, D, E and G.

Section B provides University faculties and colleges within the Regional University Network access to the most up to date versions of relevant documentation to support the processes and procedures for:

• Strategic Planning Approval 
• Academic Approval 
• Annual Monitoring and Review 
• Periodic Review 
• Withdrawal of Academic Approval 

Section C provides University faculties and colleges within the Regional University Network access to the most up to date versions of relevant documentation to support the processes and procedures for: 

• Boards of Examiners Meetings and Examination Committees  
• Cheating, Plagiarism and Unfair Practice
• Extenuating Circumstances and Mitigation
• Student Appeals

Section D provides University faculties and colleges within the Regional University Network access to the most up to date versions of relevant documentation to support the processes and procedures for:

• Academic Audit
• Continuous Audit

Section E will enable colleagues across the University to develop partnerships and collaborative provision with external bodies in a consistent and effective way, and ensure a full audit trail is visible should any arrangement require further scrutiny.
