Cheating, Plagiarism and Unfair Practice

The University holds Unfair Practice Boards which consider admitted or found cases of cheating, plagiarism and other forms of unfair practice across the institution.

Prior to consideration by the Unfair Practice Board, cases are investigated at Faculty level through Investigatory Interview, Assessment Enquiry Panel and Assessment Appeal Panel, as appropriate.

Staff are advised to review the 'Guidance on Cheating, Plagiarism and Other Forms of Unfair Practice' document prior to commencing any investigation.
