Performance and Development Review

A process to ensure that all staff are working towards clearly-defined performance objectives and development goals and receive appropriate feedback on their performance.

Our University's Strategic Plan 2010-15 will be achieved through the effective performance and development of all our staff. We are committed to enabling staff to deliver high levels of performance through the Performance and Development Review (PDR) process.

The PDR cycle, for all staff, runs from May to October.

The guidance documents provide advice to Reviewees, Reviewers and Reviewers’ Line Managers on all stages of the PDR process.

In-house workshops have been designed to ensure that Reviewers and Reviewees have a full understanding of the PDR process. For further information and to book a place, please see the People Development website.
