Joint Academic Scrutiny Sub-Committee


The Joint Academic Scrutiny Sub-Committee is responsible for providing institutional oversight and scrutiny of the outcomes of all course approval and review events.

The Sub-Committee reports jointly to the Partnerships & Collaborative Provision Committee and the Quality, Standards, & Regulations Committee. It considers the final reports of all course approval and review events; monitors the implementation of conditions and recommendations arising from approval and review events and promulgates good practice in the conduct of approval and review events. The Sub-Committee has delegated authority to receive and consider all such reports as may be required in exercise of its terms of reference; to request updates on matters of concern or areas of good practice and to refer any matter to the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar & Secretary, and / or any other person or body, as appropriate. The functions of the Sub-Committee may not normally be delegated.
