Business Objects (BOb) is the University's system for producing reports from our IT systems. It is used for producing reports from Banner and Trent as well as all the systems that have been built by IMTS.

Infoview is the repository where reports created in Business Objects are stored. This is the application most users will access.

Reports can be produced by specifically trained staff in any department. Complex reports are generally produced by the experts in Information Systems or by the BOb Support team itself.  If you would like assistance in producing a report or have encountered a problem with Business Objects or Infoview please contact Bob Support.

Infoview Quick Guide

Your line manager should request access to an information system on your behalf by contacting the support team in the department which owns the system. Find out more about Corporate Systems access.

These contacts should also be used if you need Business Objects/Infoview access to the reports for that system.

For other systems please contact the department which owns that system.

Information Systems uses various methodologies and standards to achieve a high quality service. We can also supply supporting Visio templates and project management report templates on request: Project document templates are available from the IS Liaison officer.
