Finance & General Purposes Committee

The purpose of the Committee is to advise the Board of Governors on the financial health and solvency of our University.

This includes advising on the University's financial strategy, its medium-term financial forecast and annual financial plan, and the annual block grant to the Students' Union.  The Committee has delegated authority to monitor and evaluate the overall financial performance of our University and to ensure that our University remains within the annual financial plan approved by the Board.  The Committee also deals with any other matters referred to it by the Board of Governors and other matters not remitted to any other committee.
