Course Handbooks

Course Handbooks are an essential element of how our University communicates course related and other relevant information to students.

Course Leaders will find all of the necessary templates and instructions to help them complete the course handbook template for the forthcoming academic year here.

NB: You need to be careful to ensure that you use the correct template for your course as one relates to courses refocused for delivery under the new UG Curriculum Framework and the other relates to all courses or levels of courses not yet delivered in line with the UG Curriculum Framework (for instance an UG 'BA / BSc (Hons)' course may be delivering the 'refocused' level 4 in the 2012/13 academic term at the same time as delivering 'non-refocused' levels 5 and 6 and will therefore require both templates to be completed - a refocus one and a non-refocused one

Once completed, all course handbooks should be returned to your faculty Course Handbook contact (you may need to find out who this is from your Associate Dean - Quality) who will send the document to the following email address for the handbook to be uploaded to our university website where students will access it.

http://www.leedsmet.ac.uk/staff/course-handbooks.htm

Please note that all course handbooks sent to the upload queue will be uploaded as seen and it is therefore your responsibility to ensure it is complete and correct.

Current, completed, student course handbooks can be accessed through the link on the right hand side of this screen.

For further details / guidance about how to edit the templates, please refer to the introductory notes on page 1 of each template.
