EmployeeCare provides staff at Leeds Metropolitan with free, confidential access to a range of counselling and legal services, provided by an independent health and wellbeing provider, First Assist.

Experienced and qualified telephone counsellors provide 24-hour support to help you with a wide range of personal and work-related problems in areas such as stress, relationship difficulties, bereavement anxiety, family worries, alcohol or drug abuse, employment, or financial concerns.

The legal and financial service provides you with practical and easily understood information and guidance about issues concerning the law, financial issues such as debt management, benefits or pensions.

These services are completely confidential. All First Assist advisers providing the service are bound by strict ethical codes of conduct and confidentiality. If you wish, you may remain anonymous when using the service.
