Conference and Events IT Support

Media Services' experienced events technicians can advise, design and offer technical support for AV facilities at conferences and events.

We can offer technical support for any large or small event, including in lecture theatres and teaching spaces across the University where there is fitted AV equipment, such as the Gandhi Hall at Headingley. We can also supply, set-up and support other areas with portable events equipment.

Our events technicians deliver a high quality service at a lower rate than external Audio Visual (AV) hire companies. Where an external source for AV equipment is required, our knowledge of local hire companies means we can source the best prices available to you.

We have a full range of sound equipment to suit your requirements, presentation equipment including data projectors, PC or Mac laptops and portable lighting available to enhance any large scale event. We are also able to liaise with the Video Production team where filming of the event is required.

External customers to Leeds Metropolitan wishing to use our event support service should contact the Conference Office in the first instance.
