Committee Elections

Information concerning current Board and Committee elections

The following elections were recently contested:

• Representative of the Support Staff from across the University on the Academic Board (one vacancy)
• Representative of the Support Staff from across the University on the Research & Enterprise Committee (one vacancy)

The results of the elections remain provisional until they are formally ratified by the Academic Board on 03 July 2013.

 

Representative of the Support Staff from across the University on the Academic Board

 

Following the close of the polls at 5pm on 19 April 2013 the ballot papers have been counted and the result calculated for the election to the membership of the Academic Board of one member of the Support Staff from across the University. 

Voting figures were as follows:

181 votes were cast out of a constituency of 1267 (14.5% return).   Five ballot papers were spoilt.

The winning candidate was:  Matthew Froggatt

 

Matthew’s term of office will run from 01 September 2013 to 31 August 2016.

 

Representative of the Support Staff from across the University on the Research & Enterprise Committee

 

Following the close of the polls at 5pm on 19 April 2013 the ballot papers have been counted and the result calculated for the election to the membership of the Research & Enterprise Committee of one member of the Support Staff from across the University.

 

Voting figures were as follows:

157 votes were cast out of a constituency of 1267 (12.4% return).   Four ballot papers were spoilt.
