Chair's Committee

The Chair's Committee has delegated authority to take decisions on matters of importance which would normally be referred to the Board of Governors (except those matters expressly reserved to the Board by the Articles of Government or by formal resolution of the Board), but which are agreed by the Chair, the Clerk and the Vice-Chancellor to require decisions as a matter of urgency. It is convened only as required, and does not have scheduled meetings.
