March 2012 - Grade-e-ent Upgrade
Grade-e-ent has been updated to incorporate the 'Supervisor Form' functionality. Administrators can now amend rolled component marks within Grade-e-ent rather than submitting spreadsheets to Banner Support. Guidance for using the new functionality can be found in the How To Amend Rolled Component Marks in Grade-e-ent in the Grade-e-ent section of the How To page.
If you have any queries regarding this, please contact Banner Support
December 2011 - Welcome to the new Banner Support website!
The Banner Support website has been updated to the new University template.
The document below is designed to help you navigate around the new site. If you have any problems, please contact Banner Support
Apply On Line
As well as a new website, we will soon be introducing an upgrade to the Apply On Line system. There will be the functionality to make offers to applicants via the system and for applicants to view their offer letters electronically. The new system has replaced the Direct Admissions Fast Track form for entering applications into Banner and has been designed to help capture mandatory information for the HESA return and therefore improve data quality. If you have any queries, please contact Direct Admissions in the first instance.
September 2011 - Registration Suspended
We have introduced a new registration status of RS - Registration suspended: student debt.
Students who have reached the anniversary of their enrolment date and are in debt to the University have had their registration suspended. These students are not allowed to continue with their studies until they clear their debt or come to an acceptable short term arrangement with Financial Services (Incomes). Financial Services(Incomes) are notifying these students. A new Infoview report 'Registration Suspended' can be run to identify such students.
The debtor hold in Banner will continue to be used for students who have already completed their registration but have outstanding debt. This will prevent re-registration onto further programmes.
Guidance notes are available below.

We ask that users email non urgent queries to our Banner Support email address.
We ask that all report queries are emailed to us.
Please ensure you include the full title of the report, all the prompts you are entering and if you have missing data, an example of that data (Student ID, CRN etc) as we often have to run the report and check into the report set up to resolve the issue.
