The Quality, Standards, Review and Enhancement team is responsible for the university's academic regulatory framework and within it the assurance of quality and standards of all academic provision at higher education level.

The regulations are usually approved on an annual basis by our university's Academic Board. The regulations are published and come into effect on the 1st August each year. The Academic Principles and Regulations are informed by a range of external factors (particularly those of the Quality Assurance Agency), some of these documents and relevant information can be accessed through using the links on the right hand side of this page.

The QSRE team provides support and guidance on all aspects of this framework and such guidance can be accessed through our university 'Quality Manual' (which can be viewed through the link on the right hand side of this page). The guidance is housed in the corresponding section of the regulations, alternatively you can use the search facility from the university homepage to look for guidance relevant to specific quality assurance processes.
