The first meeting took place today of the Project Board which is overseeing the Course Data Management project. Chaired by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Experience), the Board includes CMT-level colleagues and will ensure that the project is managed appropriately, and that synergies with other developments across our University can be made.
The first meeting took place of the Project Team which will lead the Course Data Management project. This project, part funded by JISC (http://www.jisc.ac.uk/whatwedo/programmes/elearning/coursedata.aspx) will produce a 'feed' (XCRI-CAP) of data relating to all our courses, which will be used to present data on those courses to an industry-standard format.
The project is being led by Stewart Harper, Head of Student Admissions, and the Project Team involves colleagues from IMTS, Marketing, Registry, Strategic Planning, QSRE and others as needed during the project.
More information on this project will be added to these pages as the project continues until May 2013.
