Academic Quality & Standards Committee


This Committee is responsible for overseeing the academic quality and standards of the University’s taught courses and the development, review, and implementation of the academic regulations and quality assurance framework for taught provision.

The following sub-committees report to the Academic Quality & Standards Committee:  

(a)      Partnerships & Collaborations Sub-Committee, which is responsible for oversight of the academic quality & standards of academic partnerships and collaborations;

(b)      External Examiners Sub-Committee, which is responsible for appointing external examiners and monitoring their work;

(c)      Academic Governance Sub-Committee, which is responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of the academic regulations, quality assurance framework, and the Academic Board committee structure.  

 

The Academic Quality & Standards Committee replaces the Quality, Standards & Regulations Committee. You can access information concerning the former Quality, Standards & Regulations Committee here.
