Victory for Carnegie netball at Leyton

Leeds Carnegie netball strung together consecutive wins to move themselves up to 5th in the England Netball Premier 1 league.

Buoyed by last week's impressive 62-41 triumph over Team Bath, Leeds managed to grind out a 6 goal victory away to Leyton winning 53-47.

It was a tightly contested physical game and Leeds didn't edge away until the 4th quarter where they managed to create more turnovers than the home team.

The impressive form of the Leeds shooters enabled Carnegie to establish a lead that they never relinquished and subsequently make it two wins out of three in their inaugural Premier 1 season.
