Tennis players at Leeds Met are continuing to deliver following the club's most successful season on record.
Last weekend the University hosted the BUCS Northern Qualifying events for the BUCS Tennis Individuals and many of the University's players made it through to the finals.
Earlier in the season the club enjoyed considerable success with the women being crowned European student champions and the men picking up bronze in the same event.
Seven players in total are through to the Individual finals which will be held at Warwick University on the 19-21 March.
Commenting on the club's success, tennis manager Louise Assioun comments: "We were very proud to host the Northern BUCS qualifying event at the weekend. It also provided the opportunity for more Leeds Met students to compete in this event. The number of players reaching the Main Draw event demonstrates the strength and depth of player playing in our tennis teams. The players are continuing to work hard on court as they continue to represent the University in the BUCS Cups and finally in the BUCS Individuals, where we are hoping for successes at both."
