RFU BOXING FOR RUGBY CONDITIONING
A new one day course to train coaches in the use of non-contact, Olympic style boxing skills tailored to meet the need of Rugby Union players. The next programme of courses will appear here once finalised.
STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Applicable to all sports, the Level One qualification provides an introduction to the principles and practices of coaching safe, ethical strength and conditioning activities to athletes of all ages. This will enable candidates to seek employment in a role where they can assist a strength and conditioning within a club, school or equivalent environment.
At Level Two, candidates will also develop an understanding of safe, ethical and effective strength and conditioning coaching. This will enable them to seek employment as a coach of strength and conditioning in a number of settings such as a sports club, or working directly with an athlete or team in an education/youth environment.
CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) OPPORTUNITIES
Carnegie Coach Education offers a number of Sports Coach UK workshops, including, 'Safeguarding & Protecting Children (SPC)', 'Equity In Your Coaching' and 'How to Coach Disabled People in Sport'. Please see our dedicated 'CPD & CPD Packages' page for further details.
