Intramural Netball is a pure delight

Pure Delights have been crowned winners of last night's Intramural Netball final at Leeds Met.
 
Leeds Met's Intramural Netball final took place last night in the Blue sports hall between Pure Delights and Shooting Stars. Pure Delights came out on top and lifted the shield by winning 30 points to 24 in what was an evenly-contested match played in high spirits.
 
The only difference between the two teams was in Pure Delights' clinical finishing in their goal shooting.
There were 24 teams this season battling it out for the title and it all came down to last night's exciting finale. This annual tournament sees people of all abilities play some very entertaining netball.

Sports Participation Officer Sarah Humphreys commented: "The fact that 24 teams from across our University took part in this year's competition demonstrates how well the intramural programme widens participation and gets people involved in sport."
