Five in a row for women's cricket

Women's cricketers at Leeds Met continued their winning streak as they easily overcame Cambridge in their latest BUCS league fixture.
Leeds Met chose to bat first and scored 259 for 8 in their fifty overs with major contributions from Meg Wylde who scored 43 and Jen Riley who was 40 not out.
The side then bowled Cambridge out for 61 in just 27 overs with Rochelle Petty taking 4 for 17 with the new ball and Holly Richardson and Sarah Rigg both took three wickets apiece.
The side now travel to Loughborough for their final league game, hoping to complete a league double over their rivals.
The men's 1st team defeated Manchester in their final BUCS league fixture, bowling the Lancashire side out for 196 in 49.5 overs before reaching their target of 197 for the loss of only three wickets inside 41 overs. The side have a bye in the first round of the Trophy and will play their next fixture next week.
The men's 2nd XI have a home tie against Birmingham 1st XI in the Trophy knockout stages whilst the 3rd XI travel to Leeds University 2nd XI in the Conference Cup.
