BUCS Duathlon success for Rosindale

Leeds Met student Lois Rosindale has continued her excellent form, taking victory in the BUCS Duathlon event at Castle Combe.
Following her recent BUCS Cycle Hill Climb win, Lois, a Sport and Exercise Science, was in confident form as she finished 30 seconds clear of her nearest rival in the multi discipline event.
Lois posted a time of 49 minutes 30.788 seconds, 30 seconds clear of her nearest rival Holly Lawrence from Swansea University. Fellow Leeds Met student Louisa Downs finished in eight position.
Leeds Met women's squad also took silver in the event, behind Loughborough and ahead of Durham.
Speaking after the event Carnegie Director of Triathlon said: "It was great to see Lois winning the BUCS duathlon title with a confident performance where she led from start to finish. It shows that her training is on track for the time of year and she can look forward to more success in 2011."
