Bronze for Rosindale in France

Leeds Met student Lois Rosindale has won bronze at the ETU European Duathlon Championships held in France recently.
Lois, a Sport and Exercise Science student finished in third position in the Under 23 category with a finishing time of 1:56:50.
It has also just been announced that Lois has been selected to represent Great Britian & BUCS at the World Student Triathlon Championships on May 29/30th in Valencia, Spain.
Director of Triathlon Jack Maitlands reflects on success for Carnegie athletes
The BUCS sprint triathlon also took place at the weekend with Leeds Met finishing in fourth position overall in the men's and women's team events with Rhys Davey the top placed athlete in 14th place.
Speaking after the event Carnegie Director of Triathlon Jack Maitland said: "For Lois it was her first GB vest at this level in her first year as an under 23. She had a fantastic performance getting a bronze medal and it sets her up for the rest of the season."
