Leeds Carnegie 55 Bournemouth 7s Blades 55
It took a last second Joanne Walker shot from the edge of the circle to rescue a draw for Leeds Carnegie against Bournemouth 7s Blades on Sunday.
Leeds trailed by six goals after the first quarter and it wasn't until the final fifteen minutes that they began to turn the ball over and cut the Blades lead, thanks to standout performances from Steph Wilson at WD and Natalie Panagarry at Centre, as well as Rachel Shaw who provided excellent service for the shooters from WA.
The result affects neither team's position in the Premier 1 league table with Carnegie remaining in sixth place.
