Booking Information

Booking Information

For bookings of the Headingley Campus facilities you must have a valid sports pass. Some bookings may require more than one sports pass, for example, for team sports like football, volleyball and basketball.

How to Book
To book facilities on a casual basis please contact our Headingley Campus reception where we will only be too happy to help you.

Bookings can be made up to seven days in advance. All bookings of football pitches must be made in person at the Carnegie Sports Centre Reception. Other facility bookings can be made over the telephone, but don't forget to have your Sports Pass ready as you will need to quote your sports pass number.

Block Bookings and Events
We have a number of facilities available for events and block bookings throughout the year. For more information please contact: Jacqui Stephens, Bookings Officer on 0113 812 7432

Sports Equipment Hire
Sports rackets are available for hire for £2 each but other equipment such as tennis balls, shuttlecocks, squash balls and footballs must be provided by yourself or purchased from the Carnegie Sports Centre Reception.

Lockers and Valuables
Lockers are available in the changing rooms and require a £1 coin (this is returnable). We do not advise that you bring valuables to the sports centre as University Sport cannot be held responsible should any personal property be stolen.

Lost Property
There is a lost property area at the Headingley Campus and Civic Quarter sites. Should you lose any items please contact our reception desks with a description of your lost item and we will try to help. You may be asked for proof of ownershp for items of value.

Smoking
All areas within University Sport are non smoking. Please respect this policy for your own health and the health of others.
