Jubilation for Badminton squad at BUCS

Badminton stars from Leeds Met are rejoicing following a weekend of unprecedented success at the BUCS Championships.
The squad retained both the men's and women's titles they won last year as well as picking up the women's trophy at the tournament in Sheffield.
Both the men and the women faced Loughborough in their respective finals and clinically dispatched of their sporting rivals with the men victorious 6-2, whilst the women triumphed 7-1. In the women's trophy final Leeds Met beat LSE 7-1 to complete a weekend of incredible success for the squad as they picked up three out of the four trophies on offer.
BA (Hons) Sport Business Management student Munn Tzin Bong was delighted by the team's success: "I thought we had a good chance of winning but Loughborough are really good and it just happened to go our way on the day. It's been a really good experience here at the Champs and I will look forward to it again next year."
BA (Hons) History & Politics student Mark Middleton added: "I'm very happy, we put a lot of effort in and we deserved it. We knew we could win and we did really well, with the men and women winning in the champs and the women in the trophy too so it was a good day."
