Men's Rugby Union

Leeds Met Carnegie currently run 4 mens teams. The 1st team are playing in the BUCS premier league. We are now firmly established as one of the top 8 universities in the country playing rugby union.

In addition we have a pioneering partnership with Leeds Carnegie RUFC creating strong links with the rugby side. Many of our students represent the University as well as A team and development levels. Our students get the benefit of high performance coaching through the partnership, with Leeds Carnegie coaches supporting the University programme.

Pre-season training with the club will start on 8th August. Any students interested in taking part in pre-season should contact Colin Stephens, Director of Rugby Union, for further details and a full training schedule.
