We are a club with two teams, having our 1st and 2nd XI in the BUCS programme in Premier North and Tier 1A respectively. Any university student is welcome to join our club by signing up at the Freshers Fairs or at the Sports Office at Headingley Campus. Club membership is £50 for the year and this covers members insurance and net sessions and socials.
Club net sessions start Friday 13th January 2012 and take place at The Indoor Cricket Centre, Headingley Cricket Ground. Only those students who are paid up members of the club will be able to take part.
We then have a university playing squad that compete in the BUCS competition. This is made up of some returning players and a number of new players who have been invited into the squad who meet the appropriate playing standard from the club nets. Should you wish to represent the university in the BUCS fixtures you need to be a club member and attend the Friday club net sessions.
Please sign up for the club in either of the ways listed above at the start of term, or email cricketmensclub@leedsmet.ac.uk.
Best wishes,
