Ultimate Frisbee

Leeds Met is proud to have Ultimate [Frisbee] as part of the range of sports provided by the Athletic Union.

Known plainly as Ultimate in the sporting world, it is a non-contact sport, played with a disc on a football sized pitch with two end zones, each representing a team.

Teams are made up of 7 players who score by catching the disc in the opponent's end zone.

Ultimate is a fast growing sport within the UK, played both indoor and outdoor, many universities are establishing teams every year.

With its addition to BUCS in 2008, interest has grown dramatically.
It is an easy game to pick up, great for your fitness and is a brilliant way to meet new people!
