Men's Basketball

Men's Basketball

The men's basketball programme continues to show growth and expansion each season, the men's programme offers basketball at every level with Intramural basketball  all the way through to national league division 1. The 2009/10 season closed with the 1st team taking the domestic university double winning the BUC's Premiership (north) and the National Playoffs.  Both the 2nd and 3rd teams had very competitive seasons in BUC's tiers 2 and 4 respectively as well as participating in the Leeds and District Premiership.  This season will see the introduction of a 4th team to the fold and an expansion of intramural activities due to demand.

No matter what your level of competition the basketball club is able to offer you expert coaching in a professional and welcoming environment. For more information on the club the please contact director of basketball Matt Newby using the contact details in the right hand column. The 2010/11 season promises to be exciting with the 1st team looking to repeat and the 2nd 3rd and 4th teams all vying for promotion in increasingly competitive leagues.
