Rugby League

The Leeds Met Rugby League club has been National champions for the past 4 seasons. The 1st team were winners of the Super 8s last year and the 2nds were also 3rd in the BUCS Premier League. If you want to play Rugby League at a high standard, Leeds Met is the place to be.

The Rugby League club is growing every year with 48 active members this year. We work hard on and off the pitch, developing a very social adn welcoming environment for all standards of players. We welcome beginners who want to pick up the game as well as international players currently representing their countries. If you want to enhance your student life, join the rugby league team when you arrive in Leeds, make new friends and be a part of a fantastic club.  

Head coach Paul Fletcher provides expert high performance coaching to both the first and second team and is assisted by former Leeds Rhinos, Bradford Bulls and Huddersfield Giant professional Paul Cooke.
