Athletics

2009 was a  significant year for Athletics at Leeds Met University with the appointment of Mick Hill as Director of Athletics and Andi Drake as Director of Race Walking. These two appointments show that we at Leeds Met are serious about athletics and are committed to doing everything possible to become a World Class Environment in which students and elite athletes can reach their potential.

The 2009/10 season saw some fantastic results both indoors and outdoors and we look forward to welcoming new members to the club with a new intake of students in September. We have a fantastic support network of coaches and coupled with the facilities on offer, we aim to provide a high quality athletics environment for any athlete at the university.
